Who we are
WM Schutt is a locally owned multi-disciplined civil engineering and land surveying corporation. Formed in 1990 by William Schutt. P.E. and Edward VanKuren, P.L.S. WSA is well know for client-focused civil engineering, land surveying, project management and construction support services. We have been performing quality civil engineering and land development services for over 30 years in Buffalo, NY; Amherst, NY; and Orchard Park, NY. We are proud to be celebrating our 33rd anniversary in 2023.
History
In 2000, WSA acquired the survey division of the former Krehbiel Associates (of Tonawanda, NY) and thereby absorbed a valuable library of WNY survey records dating back to 1928. This acquisition significantly enhanced our data base and resource files in WNY land surveying community. In 2002 WSA moved to a historically significant (cira 1890) three-story masonry building in the Village of Lancaster, NY. In 2012 we completed exterior renovations under strict NYSOPRHP guidelines and our building has since been named to the State and National Register of Historical Places.
